Glasses.

"She's nerosighted. She can't see farther than two feet."

The eye doctor explained to the guys,I myself was getting worried. My tail was going up and down in a worried manner,and my eyes darted like ping-pong balls. The guys said I had some bad eyesight,so they got me an appointment.

"She's going to use glasses,all the time."

OH GOODNESS NO! I slumped in my chair,My ears flicking. I do NOT want to wear those! I mean,in the morning when Sonic saw my out-fit of navy shirt,Kahki ragged pants and black converse (Not to forget a black sweater!) He said I looked like a nerd,all that I needed was some glasses. Shadow noticed my worriedness and his eyes shot a look of 'Don't be worried,and STOP SQURIMING WILL YOU?!' I stoped squriming and gave him a look of careless-ness. Shadow looked away,and I put on a poker-face. Oh thank the lord for giving me the power of being able to hide emotions. The eye doctor finished explaining the guys what I had. They nodded and walked out the door with me,leding me to the office. I followed them like a little girl,and popped a yorky and a pencil out of some vases and began eating my mint-chocolate. The mint calmed me as we walked to the glasses store.

"How about these one's Nicole?They'd look nice!" Sliver said,giving me a pair of skinny sliver glasses. I tried them on and said,"Sliver,I look like if I was a mother of three,and worked all day." He chuckled nervously and put them back on the rack. Sonic picked me out some navy blue ones,but they were too small. Shadow passed me a pair of black ones,they were perfect. I tried them on,and examined my situation. I DID look like a nerd!Or maybe a libary-kind-of-girl. I smiled,and put my hair behind my ear,and crossed my eyes and stuck my tounge out. Sonic chuckled as Sliver smiled. Shadow smiled faintly.

"They look perfect!" Sliver said,eyes shinning. I smiled at him and looked at the mirror.

"Let's buy em'." I said,shrugging. Sonic payed for them and the people there said that we have to wait a week for them to come in our mail. While we were walking back home,Shadow broke the annoying silence.

"The the heck were you worried Nicole?"

"Worried?Nah.You must have been seeing things."

Shadow gave me a glare.

"I do NOT see things. Why were you worried?"

"Okay,Okay,Sherlock,you got me,you got me. I'm worried because...I've never really wanted glasses. What if I look stupid?What if people make fun of me?I'm the only person in the darn house to wear glasses!"

"Don't worry Nicole,you look adorable with the glasses.No boy's going to make fun of you." Sonic said,grinning.

I uncontrollably blushed,and my ears drooped as I scratched the back of my head.

"I guess you're right...It might be not so bad..."

"That's the spirit!" Sonic said,rubbing my shoulder.

Man. Living with glasses is going to be hard.
